See measurements for choosing the correct size.The mittens are nicely lined and can be worn with a cute cuff or pulled extra long up the hand.Size 1-2 years is without a thumb, as this is difficult for children of that age. There is also no cord in this size so the mittens can be safely used in the pram during naps.Sizes 2-4 and 5-7 years include a thumb and an elastic cord sewn onto the mittens. The cord allows them to be easily pulled through the child's jacket sleeves, thereby securing them so the child doesn't lose the mittens. If you do not wish to use the cord, it can be easily cut off.Measurements: All measurements are external. It is important that the child has air around their fingers & hand, as mittens only provide optimal warmth with free movement.
