Important information about sealskin and qualities:<\/strong>
Sealskins are graded into qualities A, B, C, D, E & rejected skins<\/strong>. “A” skin = top quality (very rare). “E” quality = skin with many flaws. PLEASE NOTE: All our product photos of sealskin here in the webshop are taken from C or B skins.<\/strong> Colour tones vary from skin to skin. Sizes vary from skin to skin. It is NOT the skin you see in the product photo that you are purchasing. Do you have specific wishes for a skin? – then simply write it in the comments of your order, and we will do our best to find a suitable skin – but we cannot guarantee specific requests. <\/p>\n

Quality descriptions:<\/strong> A, B, C, D, E and rejected. A-grade skins<\/strong> have a maximum of two flaws. B-grade skins<\/strong> can have up to eight flaws. C-grade skins<\/strong> can have several flaws, as well as one or two larger flaws. D-grade skins<\/strong> can have areas completely without hair or with hard leather. E and rejected<\/strong> skins are typically very<\/strong> damaged skins and with discolourations, which can only be used for the production of very small items, after which the rest of the skin is completely discarded. In Great Greenland’s own production of finished goods, we primarily work with C and D qualities. <\/p>\n

Seals live wild, which is why “damage” from nature often occurs, compromising the skin quality. However, this is also what makes each individual sealskin completely unique!<\/strong> The quality indications therefore tell something about the general condition of the skin.
