Important information about sealskins and qualities:<\/strong>
Sealskins are graded into qualities A, B, C, D, E & discarded skins<\/strong>. “A” skin = top quality (very rare). “E” quality = skin with many flaws. PLEASE NOTE: All our product photos of sealskins here on the webshop are taken from C or B skins.<\/strong> Colour tones vary from skin to skin. Sizes vary from skin to skin. You are NOT purchasing the exact skin shown in the product photo. Do you have specific requests for a skin? – then simply write it in the comments on your order, and we will do our best to find a suitable skin – but we cannot guarantee any requests. <\/p>\n

Quality descriptions:<\/strong> A, B, C, D, E and discarded. A-grade skins<\/strong> have a maximum of two flaws. B-grade skins<\/strong> can have up to eight flaws. C-grade skins<\/strong> can have several flaws, as well as one to two larger flaws. D-grade skins<\/strong> can have areas completely without hair or with hard leather. Decorative or craft skin?<\/strong> Sealskins are extremely decorative. They can be used as, for example, rugs, or as cushions in chairs or sofas. Only your imagination sets the limits. Sealskins behave like other leather goods concerning wear and maintenance. A wonderful material for crafting. <\/p>\n

All sealskins processed by Great Greenland are caught by Greenlandic Inuit hunters along the Greenlandic coast. All skins are tanned at Great Greenland’s tannery in South Greenland.
