Christmas stocking in natural sealskin, trimmed with thick white blue fox. The back is felt fabric (80% wool and 20% polyamide). The Christmas stocking has a sewn-on hanging strap so it can be easily hung up. There is plenty of room for gifts in the stocking.
Dimensions: 38 cm high and 34 cm wide. Hand-sewn in our own sewing workshop.

About the store & tannery
We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.
If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
