Cushion cover made from seal skin for a 50×50 cm cushion. Closes with a zip. The cushion has beautiful and decorative seal skin on one side and suede/leather on the other side. The cushion cover is sewn in our Greenlandic sewing workshop. Seal skin is very durable and easy to maintain.

Please note that this is a 100% handmade product, so millimetre deviations in measurements may occur.

Please note: All natural skins vary in colour shades and seal spots. If you have any special requests regarding the look/expression of your cover, please write them in the comment field on your order. We will then do our best to find the right product. (E.g. many spots, as light as possible, as dark as possible, few spots and similar.)

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
