Nuka Sheepskin Mittens, Camel

Classic and luxurious sheepskin mittens. These mittens are produced from 100% sheepskin. The design is very simple, and as the lining is also soft sheepskin, they are warm and suitable for the entire winter and autumn season. For a more “exclusive” look, the sheepskin edge can be folded over at the wrist. Two very different looks from the same mitten. One masculine expression and one, with a turned-up cuff, feminine expression. The turned-up cuff also allows for some adjustment of the mitten’s size/length. The model is true to size and will stretch slightly with use. Sheepskin is water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. The sheepskin Great Greenland uses in mitten production consists of offcuts from, for example, our sheepskin jacket production. We thus utilise everything from the sheepskin, to ensure the most sustainable production possible in our workshops.

Please note that this is a 100% handmade product, so minor variations in millimetres may occur.

S: small hand, M: average female hand L: large female/small male hand. XL: Male hand.

About the product

Nuka Shearling Gloves, Camel

Classic and luxurious shearling gloves. These gloves are made from 100% shearling. The design is very simple, and since the lining is also soft shearling, they are warm and practical throughout the winter and autumn season. For a more “exclusive” look, the shearling edge can be folded over at the cuff. Two very different looks in the same glove. One masculine look and one, with the cuff turned up, feminine look. The turned-up cuff also allows you to adjust the size/length of the glove somewhat. The model is true to size and will stretch slightly with use. Shearling is water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. The shearling Great Greenland uses in glove production comes from offcuts from e.g. our shearling jacket productions. We thus use all parts of the shearling hide to ensure the most sustainable production possible in our sewing workshops.

Please note that this is a 100% handmade product, so millimetre deviations may occur.

responsible production

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
