“Nuuno”, Sealskin Boot, Natural Harp Seal
“Nuuno” sealskin boot, made from beautiful natural harp seal from Greenland. The boot is a low boot that comes up slightly above the ankle. It is lined with the most luxurious lambswool lining, which is both soft, warm and comfortable to step into. The boots have a non-slip chunky rubber sole, making them perfect for use in nature and on slippery roads. In addition to combining both functionality and comfort, the “Nuuno” boot is also truly beautiful. A classic and exquisite design with masses of wow factor. A boot for life. The fit is completely normal. There is good width in the foot and the shaft is roomy. The boot’s lacing flap has extra width, so if you have a wide calf, the laces can be loosened considerably without the boot flap separating from the boot. The boot is water-repellent whilst also having a high rubber sole. The sealskin should not be treated with anything other than water when cleaning. Unisex model available in sizes 35-46 EU.
The sealskin is caught, tanned and produced in Greenland. The sole and sealskin are assembled in Portugal.
Great Greenland’s shoe and boot sizes are very “normal”. The boot should fit snugly around the foot from the start, as the boot will give a little + the lamb lining will settle with use. This has been taken into account in the sizing. Remember, if the size doesn’t fit you, we always exchange with a smile 🙂
All natural skins vary in colour nuances and seal spots. If you have specific wishes for the look/expression of your boots, please write them in the comment field on your order. We will then do our best to find the right product. (E.g., many spots, as light as possible, as dark as possible, few spots)
