Headband made from seal fur (Ringed seal/Harp seal), wider at the ears. Nicely lined inside. Stretch for a good fit. Made from Greenlandic seal fur at Great Greenland’s Greenlandic sewing workshop in Qaqortoq. All headbands are unique, as seal fur varies greatly in patterns, spots, and shades. 3 sizes: S, M, and L.

S: 55 cm + 2 cm.
M: 56 cm + 2 cm.
L: 57 cm + 3 cm.

About the store & tannery
We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
