It has a total of ten credit card slots, four large compartments for banknotes, receipts etc. as well as a separate zipped compartment for coins. The purse features Ussing’s signature design details, such as the diagonally cut leather strap that closes the purse with a robust snap fastener. Very stylish design and functional purse – a real showstopper that most will envy. Greenlandic sealskin doesn’t get any more beautiful.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

We look forward to welcoming you to our showroom/store in Glostrup. Here you can experience all the products you find on our webshop, and gain a closer insight into materials, quality and design.

It is also in Glostrup that we hold our big warehouse sale every October. Sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on warehouse sales, events, campaigns and other news.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
