Aputiaraq Junior Mittens, ages 2–4 & 5–7.
Lovely junior mittens for the little ones. Made from beautiful Greenlandic sealskin and lined with polar fleece.
Excellent fit with just the right amount of elastic at the wrist.
The size range by age is a guide only. Please refer to the measurements for an accurate size selection. The measurements are taken on the outside of the mittens, so the thickness of the leather and fleece has been added, which corresponds to approximately 1 cm on each side. It is important that the mitten does not feel tight across the palm, as this will cause it to cool the hand rather than keep it warm.
2–4 years: 16 cm long (measured from the fingertips to the wrist inclusive) 9 cm wide (measured at the widest part of the hand)
5–7 years: 17 cm long (measured from the fingertips to the wrist inclusive) 10 cm wide (measured at the widest part of the hand)
