Necklace with Seal Skin – Gold/Black

Necklace with a beautiful seal skin medallion. It features Greenlandic seal skin on the front of the medallion and an engraved GG-logo on the back of the medallion. A substantial necklace with classic lines. Very flattering and elegant for either everyday wear or special occasions. The necklace is made of stainless steel, with beautiful gold or silver plating. The most hypoallergenic material on the market. 100% nickel-free. The plating is very durable and will not be affected by bathing, light, or similar activities.

Necklace length: 51 cm.
Medallion pendant: 3 cm. high, 2 cm. wide, 0.5 cm. deep.

The jewellery set is available in various seal skin colours and with both gold or silver plating. Necklace and earrings can be bought both as a matching set or individually.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
