Savatrim Sheepskin Mittens, Black with silver fox trim at the wrist.

Classic and super stylish sheepskin mittens with silver fox trim, made from 100% genuine sheepskin. The design is simple and stylish. The lining is the soft underside of the sheepskin, making them wonderfully warm and suitable for wear throughout the winter and autumn seasons. Available in sizes S–XL. The fit is very standard and will stretch slightly with wear. Sheepskin is water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. The sheepskin used by Great Greenland in its mitt production consists of offcuts from, for example, our sheepskin jacket production. This allows us to use every part of the sheepskin, ensuring production in our workshops is as sustainable as possible.

Please note that this is a 100% handmade product, so there may be slight variations of a few millimetres.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
