All Great Greenland designs not currently in stock can easily be ordered here on the webshop and produced quickly by our sewing rooms. Simply write to us at info@great-greenland.gl or call us at tel: +45 23 29 93 42 if you have any questions. Put together your very own jacket with individual choices of e.g. trim, seal species, colours etc. Contact us for a no-obligation jacket quote – we are happy to sew something very special for you.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL natural fur skins vary in colour, spots, ring patterns, etc. All Great Greenland designs can be made from either Ringsæl or Harpsæl (also known as Grønlandssæl). See the “SKIND” (SKINS) tab to see the visual difference between the 2 seal types harp & ring, as well as our selection of various skin colours. We produce in 100% natural skins or in a multitude of coloured skins. The product images/stock items should be viewed as model photos of the “standard” item – but you can easily put together your jacket exactly as you wish. All models can be ordered via the webshop here and you will always be contacted regarding the details and measurements of your jacket before production begins.

About the store & tannery
We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Opening hours
Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

We look forward to welcoming you to our showroom/store in Glostrup. Here you can experience all the products you find on our webshop, and gain a closer insight into materials, quality and design.

It is also in Glostrup that we hold our big warehouse sale every October. Sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on warehouse sales, events, campaigns and other news.

Timeless design &

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
