Iluliaq Sealskin Mittens, Natural Harpsæl with Leather on the Palm.
Lovely Greenlandic mittens, made from beautiful sealskin. A silver fox trim at the wrist and hard-wearing calf leather on the palm. The mittens are lined with warm and soft polar fleece. The entire front of the mitten is made from sealskin. The silver fox trim at the wrist gives them a feminine and beautiful look. Mittens made from sealskin with leather on the palm are a great choice if you want a firm and secure grip. For example, when cycling, the grip on the handlebars can be quite hard and slippery for the sealskin, but this is no problem with leather on the palm. Unisex style – though with a feminine touch. Classic design.
All natural hides vary in colour shades and seal spots. If you have any specific requests regarding the look or style of your mittens, simply note this in the comments field on your order. We’ll then do our best to find the right pair to match your preferences. (E.g. lots of seal spots/rings, as light as possible, as dark as possible, few spots, few rings, etc.)
XS: very small hand, S: small hand, M: standard women’s hand, L: large women’s/small men’s hand, XL: men’s hand, XXL: large men’s hand. Measurements in cm are taken on the inside. It is very important that there is space around the fingers so that you have freedom of movement inside the mitten. If the mitten is too tight around the hand, it will have a cooling effect rather than a warming one. Measurements should be taken from the tip of your middle finger, approximately 5 cm up the hand from the wrist bone. The width should be measured across the hand at the thumb knuckle.
