Beautiful patchwork rug made from Greenlandic harp seal pieces in natural and black colours. Lavish look, hard-wearing and every single piece is COMPLETELY unique. The fur used to make the seal skin rug consists of remnants from our other production. Nothing should go to waste – sustainability is important for Great Greenland. From remnants to magnificence. A mix of natural harp seal shades that gives a beautiful look.

All natural furs vary in colour nuances as well as seal spots. If you have special requests regarding your rug’s appearance, please just write it in the comment field on your order.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
