Nuka Shearling Gloves, Black

Classic and luxurious shearling gloves. These gloves are made from 100% shearling. The design is very simple, and as the lining is also soft shearling, they are warm and suitable for the entire winter and autumn season. For a more “exclusive” look, the shearling cuff can be folded back at the wrist. Two very different looks in the same glove. One masculine expression and one, with the cuff folded up, feminine expression. The folded cuff also allows you to adjust the size/length of the glove quite a bit. The fit is true to size and will stretch slightly with use. Shearling is water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. The shearling Great Greenland uses in glove production is offcuts from, for example, our shearling jacket production. We therefore utilise all parts of the shearling skin to ensure the most sustainable production possible in our workshops.

Please note that this is a 100% handmade product so millimeter deviations may occur.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
