About the product
CALY, Sealskin Boot, Natural Harpsæl – NEW
The “Caly” sealskin boot, crafted from beautiful natural Harpsæl from Greenland. A simple and classic boot design that is incredibly visually appealing and flattering on the foot. “Caly” is a tall boot that sits well up the calf. The boot features a full-length zip on the inside and an elasticated panel on the outside. It is lined with the most luxurious lambswool lining, which is soft, warm and comfortable to walk in. The boots have a non-slip, chunky rubber sole, making them perfect for use in the great outdoors and on slippery roads. As well as combining functionality and comfort, the “Caly” boot is also truly beautiful. A classic and stylish design with plenty of wow factor. A boot for life. The fit is standard. There is plenty of width in the foot and the shaft is roomy. The boot is water-repellent and features a high rubber sole. The sealskin should not be treated with anything other than water when cleaning. A unisex style available in EU sizes 35–43.
The sealskin is harvested, tanned and produced in Greenland. The sole and sealskin are assembled in Portugal.
Great Greenland’s shoe and boot sizes are very ‘standard’. The boot should fit snugly around the foot from the start, as it will stretch slightly and the lambskin lining will mould to your foot with wear. This has been taken into account in the sizing. Remember, if the size doesn’t fit you, we’ll always exchange them with a smile 🙂 If you’re between two shoe sizes, our experience is that you should choose the smaller of the two, unless you generally prefer more room around your foot.
All natural leather varies in colour shades and has natural markings. If you have any specific requests regarding the look or appearance of your boots, simply note this in the comments field on your order. We’ll then do our best to find the right product. (E.g. lots of spots, as light as possible, as dark as possible, few spots). The photo here shows a very light pair of Caly boots.
