However, all pairs do match each other. Very durable and comfortable sandal sole. These beautiful sandals are a must-have. They have a wonderful fit and the wow effect is unmistakable. So, if you want to stand out from the crowd, this is a really good suggestion for a trendsetting sandal. It is not “warm”, as the foot is not in direct contact with the seal skin. The sizes are very “normal”. So choose what size you normally wear. Remember that if the size doesn’t fit you, we always exchange it with a smile 🙂 The Manuel sandal is made in sizes 35-41 EU.

The seal skin is caught, tanned and produced in Greenland. Sole and seal skin are assembled in Portugal.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
