Cushion cover made from natural harp seal skin, patchwork, 39 x 39 cm. (Fits a standard 40×40 cushion). The cushion cover measures approx. 39×39 cm. But it should be used with a 40×40 cm cushion, for correct tension in the sealskin. Sealskin on one side and durable heavy wool fabric on the other side. Fastens with a zip on the back. A product that is part of our sustainable story – patchwork is made from seal remnants from our other production. Gives a lovely look in the home and every single cushion is completely unique in colour shade and spots.

Please note it is a 100% handmade product so millimeter deviations may occur in measurements.

All natural skins vary in colour shades and seal spots. If you have special requests for the look/expression, please just write it in the comment field on your order.

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
