Sava Sheepskin Mittens, Beige

Classic and super soft sheepskin mittens produced from 100% sheepskin. The design is simple and cool. The lining is the soft back of the sheepskin, making them wonderfully warm and suitable for the entire winter and autumn season. For a more “exclusive” look, the sheepskin cuff can be folded forward at the wrist. Two very different looks in the same mitten. One masculine expression and one, with the cuff turned up, a feminine expression. The turned-up cuff also allows for some adjustment of the mitten’s size/length. The Sava mitten is a UNISEX model and comes in sizes S-XL. The model is very true to size and will stretch a little with use. Sheepskin is water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. The sheepskin Great Greenland uses in mitten production consists of leftover pieces from, for example, our sheepskin jacket production. We thus utilise everything on the sheepskin to ensure as sustainable a production as possible in our sewing workshops.

Please note that it is a 100% handmade product, so millimetre deviations may occur.

S: small hand, M: average female hand L: large female/small male hand. XL: male hand.

Timeless design &
responsible production

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
