Cushion cover made from coloured sealskin pieces, patchwork. 39×39 cm. (Fits a standard 40×40 cushion). The cushion cover measures approx. 39×39 cm. However, it should be used with a 40×40 cm cushion for correct tension in the sealskin. Sealskin on one side and durable, strong fabric on the other side. Closed with a zip at the back. A product that is part of our sustainable story – Patchwork is made from sealskin remnants from our other production. Provides a lovely look in the home and every cushion is completely unique in colour shade and patterns.

NOTE: Colours of skin patches vary and the image shown on this product is an example of a patch colour combination. However, a patch cushion cover may have other colours from Great Greenland’s skin colours than what the image shows. (Red, pink, orange, green, blue, black, army, blueberry, purple etc.)

We are pleased to welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The Story of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find both one of our sewing studios and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.

If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.

Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
For cruise ship arrivals or other announced visits, we offer extended opening hours.

The story of sealskin is also the story of Greenland’s people; the Inuit. It is the story of a people living in harmony with nature. In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and by visiting a living workshop.
